๐ก About Our House
We offer specialist residential support to families who need help with parenting. The centre includes 3 self-contained flats, each accommodating a family. Families may be coping with:
* Moderate to high learning needs
* Domestic abuse recovery
* Substance or alcohol misuse
* Mental health issues or past trauma
Our goal is to empower parents in their parenting journey, while they undergo formal assessment by childrenโs services.
๐ผ Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, youโll be part of a dedicated team supporting families to grow in confidence, stability and independence.
Key responsibilities include:
๐น Building strong, supportive relationships with families
๐น Helping promote daily routines, safety, and wellbeing
๐น Assisting with cooking, cleaning, and household tasks
๐น Supporting colleagues through role modelling and teamwork
๐น Keeping accurate records and documentation
๐น Maintaining a safe, nurturing environment at all times
๐น Working closely with other professionals and agencies
๐น Upholding safeguarding practices

What Youโll Need
๐ A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete it within the required timeframe)
๐
Experience working with families in a similar residential or support setting
๐ก A clear understanding of safeguarding and protecting children and young people
๐ง Strong communication and people skills
๐ Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays
๐ Willingness to travel to support other nearby homes in Hinckley, Coalville, Mountsorrel and Syston
