We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Child Care Workers to join our team and provide outstanding care and support to children and young people aged 12-17. This role is ideal for individuals who are optimistic, empathetic, and committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people.
About the Role:
As a Child Care Worker, you'll play a crucial part in creating a nurturing, respectful, and safe environment for children and young people who may have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect, and who may have learning difficulties, be neuro-diverse, or have mental health needs.
You will help young people feel safe, empowered, and supported to reach their full potential in a home that promotes positive relationships, stability, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with the home's statement of purpose
Support the emotional, social, and physical development of young people
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies
Uphold and promote good childcare practices aligned with professional valuesRequirements:
Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent), or willingness to complete this via a funded Apprenticeship
A positive, compassionate attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essentialWhat We Offer:
