🏡 About the Service
Join a brand-new Emotional Well-being Home supporting children & young people aged 8–18 who’ve experienced trauma or difficult life events. The service offers up to 3 children at a time a safe, nurturing space to rebuild confidence, friendships, and emotional wellbeing. 🌱
You'll be based in Syston, with flexibility to help cover in nearby homes across Hinckley, Coalville, Mountsorrel, and Braunstone when needed. 🚗
🌙 What You’ll Be Doing:
🤝 Build strong, nurturing relationships
🧠 Empower young people to grow in confidence & independence
👥 Support and lead the Residential Support Workers
🏠 Help with daily running of the home (cooking, tidying, etc.)
📝 Keep clear, accurate records and notes
🛡 Safeguard and protect children at all times
🌍 Work closely with families, carers, and professionals
🎓 What You’ll Need:
✅ A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or be working toward it)
📆 1+ year of experience as a supervisor/shift leader in residential care
🧠 Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices
🗣 Great communication and teamwork skills
📈 A passion for helping young people thrive
🕰 Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and bank holidays
