Job Description
Site Manager – Cladding & Sheeting
Location: Cornwall
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
I’m working with a specialist contractor delivering high-quality cladding and sheeting packages on commercial and industrial projects. They are currently looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee site operations in Cornwall.
The ideal candidate will come from a cladding background and have a strong track record of managing external envelope works from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all day-to-day site operations, ensuring cladding and sheeting works are delivered to a high standard
*
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, labour, and site logistics
*
Maintain strict adherence to health & safety regulations and site procedures
*
Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and programme
*
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with RAMS
*
Liaise with the Project Manager, design team, and client representatives
*
Monitor progress, maintain site records, and provide regular reporting
*
Take responsibility for quality control, snagging, and handover processes
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in site management, specifically within cladding and sheeting projects
*
Black CSCS card – essential
*
SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
*
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
*
Ability to manage multiple teams and ensure work is completed to programme
*
Good understanding of drawings, specifications, and sequencing of works
