Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and skilled Drivers to join our client. The ideal candidates will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role involves driving, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
The safe transportation of goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are transported safely.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.Requirements
Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) .
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is preferred.
Familiarity with loading/unloading procedures is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
