Salary:
£16 - £17.5 Per hour dependat on shift
Days £16 inclusive of holiday pay
Saturday days £17 inclusive of holiday pay
Nights £17 inclusive of holiday pay
Saaturday and Sunday Nights £17.50 inclusive of holiday pay
Job Duties:
Transport goods and materials from one place to another using a Class 1 curtain sided vehicle
Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods to designated locations
Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
Required Qualifications:
Valid Class 1 driving licence and 12 months relevant experience
Digital tachograph card
Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
Maximum of 10 points allowed
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent driving skills and road safety awareness
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
Working Conditions:
Work primarily involves driving and may require long hours on the road
Exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands of loading/unloading
