Good to know:
1 drop on nights and 2 drops maximum on days. No handball, Curtain slide, Days starting 03:00am-10:00am, Nights starting 15:00-22:00
Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 driver looking for your next opportunity? We are currently seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team. If you have a passion for driving and enjoy being on the road, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle to deliver goods to various locations.
* Ensure timely and safe deliveries while maintaining high standards of service.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
* Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks.
* Follow all safety regulations, road traffic laws, and company policies.
* Maintain good communication with the transport team and customers.
* Adhere to all environmental and health & safety guidelines during loading, unloading, and transportation.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
* CPC qualification (Certificate of Professional Competence).
* A clean driving record (preferred but not essential).
* Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 driver - 1 year +
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Good time management and the ability to work independently.
* Flexibility to work weekends and nights as required.
* Strong commitment to safety and reliability on the road.
