Job Description
Manpower are currently recruiting a Class 1 HIAB driver for our client based in Ellesmere port. Monday-Friday 48 hours per week paying a starting salary of £40K depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Safe operation of a Hiab vehicle to transport LPG vessels and other equipment to and from customer sites to support tasks such as installation, uplift and exchange programmes.
Using the mounted crane to safely load and unload vessels and equipment, ensuring safe and proper handling procedures are always followed.
Provision of technical advice to sales representatives and customers on vessel positioning and Hiab restrictions.
Conduct daily vehicle and crane safety checks, reporting any faults or maintenance requirements in accordance with company policy.
Strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including hazardous material handling, PPE requirements, and site-specific safety protocols.
Accurately complete delivery notes, logbooks, timesheets, and any other required documentation.
Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, handling queries or minor issues where appropriate.
Familiarity with and able to implement emergency response procedures in an incident.
Maintenance of stock levels as well as supporting the Engineering function with manual handling or basic maintenance tasks during downtimes.ADR & HIAB licence is essential for the role.
