Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers - Refrigerated Tramping - Portsmouth
SRG Recruitment is seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for ongoing refrigerated tramping work with a reputable haulier in Barnham, west Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for HGV Class 1 drivers seeking consistent, year-round employment with a well-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating refrigerated vehicles for deliveries and collections across the UK.
Adhering to all safety and compliance regulations, including tachograph and driver hours laws.
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and conducting daily safety checks.
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 1 year of UK driving experience.
Valid CPC and DIGI cards.
No DD, DR, DG, or IN endorsements.
Strong understanding of WTD and driver hours regulations.
Proficient communication skills in both spoken and written English.
Flexible and reliable approach to work.
Competitive Umbrella Rates:
Days:
Monday to Friday: £17.50 per hourNights:
Monday to Friday: £19.00 per hour
Weekend Class 1 Rate are enhanced.
Additional Benefits:
Guaranteed 10 hours per shift, Monday to Sunday.
PAYE rates available upon request.
Flexible shift patterns available, including 4 on 4 off and 5 on 3 off rotas.
