About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Driver with a valid HIAB licence to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods using a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB), ensuring excellent service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle with mounted HIAB crane to deliver and collect goods.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is kept in a roadworthy, clean, and presentable condition.
Load and unload goods in line with health and safety regulations.
Communicate professionally with customers, representing the company to the highest standard at all times.
Complete all paperwork and electronic records accurately and promptly.
Comply with all driving hours, working time, and road transport regulations.
Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle defects immediately.Requirements:
Full UK Category C (Class 2) licence.
Valid HIAB licence (Remote, Grab, and/or Hook attachments preferred).
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Proven experience operating a HIAB vehicle.
A good understanding of health and safety regulations.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime if required.Desirable:
Previous experience within the [building materials/construction/industrial] sectors (adjust depending on sector).
Additional endorsements (e.g., ALLMI, CSCS card).Benefits:
