Ad Hoc HGV Class 2 Driver – Multi-Drop Deliveries – Early Starts (4am)
Location: Reading
Rate: £17ph + holiday allowance – PAYE
We’re looking for reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our pool of ad hoc drivers for a well-established delivery business. This role is perfect for those who enjoy flexibility and early starts, with shifts typically beginning at 4:00am and lasting around 8 hours.
The position involves multi-drop deliveries of goods to commercial clients across the region, so experience with route planning and efficient drop execution is essential.
Key Details:
Ad hoc shifts available – ideal for those seeking flexibility
Start time: 4am
Average shift length: 8 hours
Multi-drop deliveries to commercial locations
Delivering goods safely and on time
Occasional heavy lifting involved
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and digital tachograph card
Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
No more than 6 points on your licence (due to insurance)
A proactive, punctual, and dependable attitude
Strong geographical knowledge and good customer service skills
