HGV Class 2 Mixer Truck Driver – Ready-Mix Concrete
Location: Greater Manchester (Waterfoot, and Westhoughton)
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, approx. 45–50 hours per week
Overtime: Enhanced rates apply after 45 hours
Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a dependable and professional Class 2 HGV Mixer Truck Driver on behalf of a well-established, family-run building materials supplier operating across the Greater Manchester area. This is a full-time, permanent role offering steady work and opportunities for training.
Role Description:
As a Mixer Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of ready-mixed concrete and related products, including mortars and screeds, to construction sites. The role involves direct interaction with customers, so strong communication and a professional approach are essential.
Key Duties:

Drive a Class 2 HGV Mixer Truck to deliver ready-mix products to customer sites
*
Communicate effectively with site personnel to ensure efficient deliveries
*
Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and maintain accurate tachograph records
*
Comply with all relevant road transport legislation and company procedures
*
Ensure deliveries are made safely and to required specifications
Requirements:
*
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
*
Current CPC qualification
*
Digital Tachograph Card
*
Mixer truck or ready-mix experience is preferred, but full training is provided
*
Good customer service and communication skills
*
Reliable, safety-focused, and punctual
