Job Description
DRIVER HGV CLASS 2 - ADHOC SHIFTS
MEASHAM, SWADLINCOTE, DE12
£14.95ph
My client is looking for an experienced Class 2 driver to work adhoc shifts as ad when required from their Measham Warehouse and distribution centre.

Overall purpose of the role / Principal Duties and Responsibilities ;
Check vehicle before departure ensuring load is safe /secure - log and report any faults
To collect and deliver equipment and supplies to/from depot to customers in accordance with the Company's practices, procedures and quality system, without error and safely
Verify load againts paperwork
Deliver to and collect goofs from customer premises. Multi-drop deliveries to regular customers across the UK, anywhere from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 9 drops per shift. Multiple drops can be in one location
Operate a vehicle within the Law at all times
Administrative duties eg; accurate completion of delivery dockets and reports as required, ensuring all documentation is issued and signed correctly distributed
Ensure Vehicle is in a good and clean condition inside and out
Report any issues to Transport Manager and report any faults immediately
Qualification and Experience ;
Full Clean Class 2 (Cat C) Driver's License
CPC Card and Digi-Tachograph
Previous driving experience (minimum of 1 year) of driving large goods vehicles
Good geographical knowlegdge of the UK
The successful candidate will be
Articulate, courteous and have a friendly manner
Hardworking, punctual, honest and reliable
Understand the importance of accuracy/attention to detail and flexibility
Good communication skills
Customer focused attitude
Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
Good physical health as you will be loading/unloading
