We’re recruiting on behalf of our client – a well-established waste and recycling company – who are seeking a dependable and experienced driver to join their close-knit team.

The role:
As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe collection and transportation of commercial and domestic waste, including skips. You’ll be operating in a fast-paced yet supportive environment where teamwork and reliability are key.
What you’ll be doing:
• Operating Class 2 vehicles to complete waste and recycling collections
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly
• Using lifting equipment and performing manual handling tasks
• Logging collections and completing paperwork accurately
• Maintaining clear communication with dispatch, colleagues, and customers
• Following all health, safety, and environmental protocols
What we’re looking for:
• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC qualification and valid Digital Tachograph card
• Previous experience in waste, recycling, or related sectors preferred
• A strong work ethic, punctuality, and solid communication skills
• Physically fit – this role involves hands-on labour and manual handling
