Job Description
About the Role:
As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering building materials to various commercial and residential sites using a Brick Grab. You'll work with different customers across the Wakefield area, ensuring goods are delivered safely, on time, and in excellent condition.
Key duties include:
Conducting daily vehicle and equipment checks
Loading/unloading materials using a HIAB (Brick Grab)
Ensuring loads are secure and paperwork is completed accurately
Providing a friendly and professional service to customers
Complying with driving laws and safety regulations at all times
This is a hands-on role suited for someone with good communication skills and a strong safety mindset.
Requirements:
Full UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
HIAB Certificate - Brick Grab experience preferred
Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
No more than 6 points on licence - no DD, DR, IN convictions
Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulationsBefore You Apply
