Job Description
Class 2 HIAB Driver – Gloucester – £18.00 per hour + Holiday Pay On TOP, working Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:30, Ongoing Summer work, Temp to perm for the right candidate with, Immediate Start available. We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a respected roofing and builders merchant based in Gloucester. You’ll be delivering building materials to construction sites and private customers across the region – no two days are the same!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driver who enjoys being out on the road, operating a crane, and providing top-tier service to trade and domestic customers alike.
Your Day-to-Day:
Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB (brick grab)
Deliver a variety of roofing and building materials to local sites and homes
Load and unload using the vehicle-mounted crane
Complete delivery paperwork and checks
Offer excellent customer service and represent the business professionallyWhat You Need:
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
HIAB (Hook or Grab) certification and experience (brick grab preferred)
CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Good knowledge of local area (preferred)
Physically fit and confident with manual handling
A customer-focused attitude and strong reliability
No more than 6 points for minor offencesThe Offer:
£18.00 per hour + holiday pay
Monday to Friday – enjoy your weekends off
Guaranteed minimum 8 hours pay per day
Full uniform and PPE provided
