Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Driver Hire Southampton for experienced and newly qualified Class 2 drivers. For this role you will be responsible for delivering stationary products to commercial areas in and around the Hampshire area
Information about this Class 2 Delivery Driving role:
12-week temp to perm position working Monday to Friday
37 hours a week
Around 10-15 drops per shift
7:00am start time
Driving Class 2 vehicle where you will be required to operate tail lift and pump truck
Deliveries are mostly around the Hampshire area
Carry out daily vehicle checks
Delivering stationary materials to business and commercial areasWhat we require from our Class 2 Drivers:
Full UK Class 2 driving licence
Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
Previous experience in a multidrop role is beneficial
Own transport to commute to and from work is essential
Fantastic customer service and communication skills
Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner
Good area knowledge
Understand manual handling and heavy lifting procedures
