Are you an experienced and resilient teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? A fantastic SEMH primary school in Slough is seeking a dedicated and confident Class Teacher to join their nurturing and skilled team.
The school caters for primary-aged pupils (4-11) with EHCPs, offering a holistic, therapeutic, and curriculum-rich environment that helps each child thrive both emotionally and academically. This includes bespoke support programmes, dual placements, and reintegration opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing:
Delivering a differentiated curriculum tailored to pupils with complex behavioural and emotional needs
Creating a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment
Supporting children to regulate their emotions and behaviour through consistent routines and positive reinforcement
Working closely with therapists, support staff, and families to provide wraparound support
Promoting respect, resilience, and confidence in every child
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has strong behaviour management skills and experience in SEMH or additional needs settings
Can confidently teach across the primary age range (KS1-KS2)
Is nurturing, calm, and adaptable in challenging situations
Understands the importance of therapeutic approaches and trauma-informed practice
Can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
