We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Domestic Assistants to join our team and work in a variety of settings, including healthcare facilities, offices, and hospitality venues across County Antrim.
Job Description
As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in workplaces, healthcare environments, and other facilities. Your role will contribute to the overall well-being and safety of staff, residents, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
• Cleaning and sanitizing designated areas, including offices, healthcare facilities, kitchens, and communal spaces
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Disposing of waste and ensuring proper recycling and waste management practices
• Cleaning restrooms and replenishing supplies as needed
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard in line with hygiene regulations
• Using cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
• Reporting any maintenance or hygiene issues to supervisors
• Following health and safety guidelines, including infection control procedures
Requirements
• Previous experience in a cleaning or domestic assistant role is desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and time management skills
• A flexible and reliable approach to work, as shifts may vary depending on client needs
• Right to work in the UK
