Job Summary
As a Client Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing their accounts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting services. You will work closely with the owner/director to nurture client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
Oversee the preparation and review of accountancy services
Act as the key liaison between clients and internal team, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
Review work prepared by junior staff and support their professional development.
Identify opportunities for additional services and support business development efforts.
Ensure all work complies with relevant accounting standards, legislation, and internal policies.
Maintain accurate records and manage client deadlines effectively.
Attend client meetings, either in person or remotely, as required.
Qualifications and Skills
ACA / ACCA qualified OR qualified by experience
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
Experience in mentoring or supervising junior team members.
Commercial awareness and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
