Job Description
Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a CMM Inspector to their team on a permanent basis within Glasgow.
Hours: Monday - Friday (37 p/w) across early, back, and night shift
Hourly Rate: DOE (OT - Saturday 1.5x and Sunday 2x, shift allowance across shift pattern)
Daily Duties -
Carry out first-off, interim, and batch inspection for machined parts using a variety of measuring equipment
Measure components through selection of appropriate probes and attachments for the CMM
Perform visual inspection of final batch components to ensure customer specification is met
Assist with checking machined parts both in inspection and on the shop floor
Compile and analyse manual/ CMM inspection reports, NCRs, and liaise with production staff to action issuesCandidate Requirements -
Minimum 3 years inspection experience within a machineshop
Proven ability to accurately inspect machined part using measuring techniques e.g. CMM, vision CMM, Shadow Graph
