SourceCo are proud to work in partnership with an established precision manufacturer based in Tewkesbury who are looking to expand their team of CNC Setter/Operators.
Job Title – CNC Setter/Operator
Pay rates – £16-£17ph
Start date – Immediate!
Location – Tewkesbury
Job Type – Temporary ongoing position which may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Shift – Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-13:00
What does the role involve?
* Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to produce parts based on engineering specifications.
* Fabricate components from various materials, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
* Set, run and program using Fanuc controls on Doosan Lynx 2100LY and 2100LSY
* Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
* Collaborate with team members to improve production techniques and workflows.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate should possess:
* Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
* Experience with milling machines and an understanding of tooling requirements.
* Mechanical knowledge that enables effective troubleshooting of equipment issues.
* Experience using Fanuc controls on Doosan Lynx 2100LY and 2100LSY
