We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Sliding Head Turner to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and assisting with programming our Star Sliding Head machines.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and operate Star CNC sliding head lathes
Work to tight tolerances from engineering drawings
Carry out basic program edits and adjustments to optimize machine performance
Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Work efficiently either independently or as part of a team
Key Requirements:
Proven experience setting and operating Star Sliding Head CNC machines
Good working knowledge of CNC programming (essential)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Flexible to work either the day or night shift as required
