Job Description
Role – CNC Turner position
Location – Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time position
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Salary - £31,200 – £35,360 per annum
Our client based close to Thetford is currently recruiting for a CNC Turner to join their workshop team. This is a great opportunity to join a family run and long standing and reputable organisation.
An immediate start could be offered for the right applicant
Applicant will need working experience working with -
- Daewoo Puma 230M with live tooling
- Daewoo Puma 2000SY with live tooling
- Nakamura-Tome TMC-30

Nakamura-Tome TMC-30
Main duties will include
Setting, operating and programming CNC Lathes
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions
Inspect finished components to ensure they meet customer specifications
Candidate attributes –
Must be able to work on own initiative
Will need ideally 6+ years working experience in a similar position
Understanding of basic maths and logic controllers.
