Job Description
Are you passionate about financial analysis and business performance? We have partnered with a mid-Essex national distributer, who are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Commercial Finance Analyst, on a 12 month fixed term contract.
You’ll play a vital role in supporting the Head of Commercial Finance in analysing and reporting the financial performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple brands and functions, including commercial, sales, operations, and the wider finance team.
Key Responsibilities include
🔹 Prepare daily sales tracker and performance reports
🔹 Conduct monthly stock, margin, and sales out analyses
🔹 Generate management KPI and exception reports
🔹 Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis
🔹 Develop Power BI dashboards and reports
🔹 Improve and automate financial processes and reporting
🔹 Raise rebate invoices and credit notes
Required skills / knowledge
✅ Strong Microsoft Excel skills (essential)
✅ Experience in Power BI report development
✅ Understanding of stock management and operational finance
✅ Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
✅ Previous experience in a commercial finance role or portfolio business (preferred)
