As a Commercial Manager your roles and responsibilities will include…
* Managing & negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Ensuring all contractual obligations are clearly defined/met
* Managing project finances, monitoring costs, and controlling expenditures
* Identifying/mitigating commercial and contractual risks and optimising financial strategies
* Ensuring insurance and legal documentation are in place to protect the company
* Managing the procurement process, sourcing materials/equipment and negotiating contracts
* Ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, systems, and procedures.
We’re looking for a Commercial Manager with the following skills and experience…
* Ideally 10 years’ experience in a similar position
* Varied experience in terms of construction projects, versatile and flexible
* Ideally managed a team with strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Good leadership skills, earn respect of team, inspire & gain trust
* Degree/qualification in commercial management, quantity surveying, or RICS certification
* Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
* UK driving licence and access to vehicle
In return, the successful Commercial Manager will earn a salary between £55,000 - £60,000 as well as the following benefits…
