Job Description
Job Role: Community Nurse
Location: Llandrindod Wells, Wales
Working period: Full-time
Working Hours: Hours up to 37.5 hours per week. Minimum of 22.5 for continuity
Assignment Period: 1 month (4 weeks)
About the Role:
We are looking for a confident and experienced Community Nurse to join our team immediately. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care in the community and have the skills listed below, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Administration of oral medications, insulin, SC & IM injections
* Palliative care, including syringe driver management and symptom control
* Catheterisation (male, suprapubic, and female)
* IV administration
* Leg ulcer management and wound care
* Doppler training (desirable but not essential)
* CHC nursing needs assessment (desirable but not essential)
What We Are Looking For:
* NMC registered nurse (RGN)
* Previous experience in a community setting
* Ability to work autonomously and manage caseloads efficiently
* Strong assessment and decision-making skills
* Driving license and access to own vehicle is essential
