Site Manager - Main Contractor
Location: Central Belt, Scotland

Project Values: up to £30m
Our client is a well-established and fast-growing main contractor with a strong pipeline of exciting and complex construction projects throughout Scotland. Operating across a diverse range of sectors-including steel frame, industrial units, retail, leisure, office, and distilleries-they are seeking experienced and driven Site Managers to lead on-site delivery and uphold their high standards of safety, quality and programme performance.
About the Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring that work is delivered efficiently, safely, and to a consistently high standard. You will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and your project team to ensure successful outcomes across all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee daily site operations, ensuring efficient workflow.
Drive progress on site, motivating teams to deliver on time and to the highest quality standards.
Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and internal procedures.
Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
Track project milestones and report updates to senior management.
Implement and monitor robust quality assurance processes.
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and design teams.Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor.
Comfortable working in live environments and managing fast-track programmes.
Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
Proactive and solutions-oriented in addressing site challenges.
Hold valid SMSTS, Black CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
