Job Description
Controls & Automation Engineer - Salary £55,000 - £70,000 per annum + Benefits
A leading European Manufacturer of high-value Capital Equipment sold into the Food & Drink sector. This business is a part of an international group of engineering companies. Expansion and investment is driving the business forward.
Duties:
* Design, Develop and Commission control software
* PLC Programming and HMI Configuration
* Creating Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
* Creating Software Design Specifications (SDS)
* Remote commissioning and support
* On-Site Commissioning and support (UK and Overseas)
* Technical Troubleshooting
* Preparing associated documentation and manuals
Experience:
* Qualified in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
* Experience of working with PLC’s on Special Purpose Machinery / High Value Production Machinery
* PLC Programming (Siemens and Allen Bradley/Rockwell)
* Work with SCADA / controls software
* Confident with diagnostic fault-finding
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
* Well organised with the ability to work independently and part of a team
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: £55,000 pa - £70,000 pa (depending on experience)
Place of Work: Home and Field Based
Hours: 37 hours per week
Vehicle: Company Car
Overtime: Paid at enhanced rate
Annual Holidays: 25 days + Bank Holidays
Pension: 6% Employer Contribution
Medical: Private Healthcare for Employee (Family can be added)
