Conveyancer £26,500-£30,000 Newcastle NE1 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancer to join a highly regarded legal team in Newcastle city centre. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong background in residential property who is looking to take ownership of a varied caseload and contribute to a supportive and professional working environment. The Role As a Conveyancer, you will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in legal service, client care, compliance, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Provide clear, practical advice to clients, maintaining high standards of service and client care. Handle all aspects of residential property transactions independently. Ensure effective file and case management in line with internal procedures. Meet agreed billing and performance targets, accurately recording chargeable time. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the team and wider firm. Keep up to date with developments in conveyancing law and maintain competence through ongoing training. Engage in business development and marketing activities including networking and content creation. Comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and firm-wide policies. Qualifications & Training 5 GCSEs at grade 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent. A Law degree or equivalent legal training. Additional qualifications or conveyancing-specific training desirable.Experience Proven experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload. Proficiency in using the Land Registry Portal. Familiarity with the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme is advantageous. Skills & Attributes Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing deadlines. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable using legal IT systems and case management tools. Approachable, professional, and flexible in approach. Willing to undertake training and embrace change
