A welcoming secondary school in Holbeach is seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor (CS) to join their team on a supply basis. This is the perfect opportunity for graduates considering a future in education or looking to gain hands-on classroom experience before teacher training.
Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:
Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher across various subjects.
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task.
Provide support to students with their learning and answer general questions.
Report back on student progress and any issues to teaching staff.
Uphold school policies and promote a positive learning environment.
The Successful Candidate Will:
Graduate preferred – ideal for individuals considering a teaching career.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a classroom and maintain student engagement.
Reliable, flexible, and confident working in a school environment.
Previous school or youth work experience is desirable but not essential.
Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
