Job Duties:
Supervise students in the absence of a teacher
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and support students in their learning
Assist with classroom activities and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour
Required Qualifications:
Confidence in managing groups of students
Empathy towards the needs of students
Positivity and enthusiasm for education
Education:
A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to engage and motivate students
Flexibility to adapt to different classroom situations
Quick thinking and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school environment, following the school timetable and supporting various subject areas as required. On many occasions the school have offered our Graduate Cover Supervisors a permanent role, along with Teacher trainingBefore You Apply
