Cover Supervisor
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time cover supervisor to work at an excellent partnership secondary school in Hull, ASAP and lasting until at least the end of the academic year. This is a temporary position, and is cover for a vacant position, so there is potential for this to become a permanent position in the future if the candidate is enjoying the position and performing well. Payment for this position will be between £100 and £110 per day depending on experience and qualifications.
This role will involve covering a variety of different lessons due to absences within the school. You will be an integral part of the running of the school, ensuring that consistent cover is provided for students. You will forge strong relationships with staff and students. While no specialism is required for this role, if the successful candidate has a specialism as such, they will be prioritised for cover on these lessons. Experienced cover supervisors are encouraged to apply, or recent graduates with child based experience. Similarly, newly qualified teachers who want consistent work are also encouraged to apply for the role. When you are not on cover you will be assisting as a teaching assistant.
Located in Hull, the school is easy to access from most areas of Hull on the bus and via bike. There is a large onsite car park that is free to use for candidates who do drive. The school has a fantastic reputation within the local community, and treats their temporary staff extremely well. The head of the SEND and cover department is fantastic and will support with all queries and development areas. The school puts candidates through rigorous training to ensure that they are fully supported and are equip for the role. This school is part of a small academy trust, so this could lead to further opportunities in the future.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
Have experience working within schools in the UK.
Has experience supporting within UK schools
Has experience working as a cover supervisor (desirable)
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
