What’s a Cover Supervisor, Anyway?
Great question! As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll take the reins when teachers are away. You won’t be planning or marking, but you will be:
Delivering pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects.
Managing classroom behaviour in a calm and positive way.
Supporting students with tasks and answering general queries.
Making sure learning doesn’t miss a beat while their regular teacher is away!

✅ Who Are We Looking For?
We’re not looking for a superhero cape (although, if you have one, that’s cool too), but we do want people who are:
Confident communicators and natural leaders.
Passionate about education and making a difference.
Adaptable, reliable, and resilient – schools love people who turn up and muck in!
Ideally experienced with young people (in schools, youth work, coaching, tutoring – all great!).
A degree or experience in education is a bonus, but personality, positivity, and presence are what count most!

We work with a wide range of fantastic secondary schools across Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield, Barnsley, Doncaster or Worksop etc.], so let us know where you’d love to be placed!
