Credit Controller | Luton
£28,000 - £30,000
Full-Time | Office Based
Think Accountancy and Finance are proud to be supporting a forward-thinking business, with great company values, who are on the hunt for a Credit Controller to join their busy finance team.
Do you have Credit Control experience and are looking for a new challenge in a business that values continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development?
This is a fantastic opportunity to take real ownership and play a key role in improving cash flow, resolving queries, and building strong client relationships, all within a supportive, values-driven finance team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the full credit cycle of your own accounts
Chasing outstanding payments via phone, email, and written correspondence
Managing and escalating overdue debts
Resolving disputes and ensuring timely payments
Ensuring compliance with policies and month-end processes
New account setup, including credit checks and applications
Reviewing and advising on bad debts
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in credit control
Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Naturally inquisitive with strong problem-solving ability
Highly organised, self-starting, and able to manage workload independently
Resilient and proactive in approach
Strong communication skills - in person, on the phone, and via email
