Job Description
Our client, a leading company in data centre delivery, is seeking an experienced CSA Design Manager to join their team on a permanent basis in Dublin. This exciting role involves overseeing a major data centre project, ensuring that design engineering meets and exceeds client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the client's design team for the project build and site-wide design and services
Coordinate the internal design teams and external design consultants ensuring design development is on schedule
Plan and lead design and engineering workshops to resolve issues and ensure progress ahead of site activities
Manage the Technical Submittal (TS) process ensuring timely submissions and adherence to specifications
Oversee the design query process, raising issues in weekly workshops, and follow up with Requests for Information (RFIs)
Manage IFC releases and updates, ensuring coordination with the design team and engineers
Lead weekly design and engineering meetings to review progress and expedite urgent items
Populate a design risk register to inform senior management and the client of potential upcoming risks
Job Requirements:
Experience in delivering large-scale projects including office fitouts, retail, hotels, schools, data centres, etc.
Data centre experience would be advantageous
Background in a relevant construction discipline, degree level preferred
Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
