Salary: Up to £34,000
A leading logistics provider is seeking a skilled and detail-focused Import Customs Operator to join its Customs team based at London Gateway. This vital role involves managing import declarations and ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process accurate import and export customs documentation
Ensure compliance with current UK customs regulations and procedures
Liaise regularly with HMRC and port community systems to resolve issues
Maintain up-to-date internal records and customs systems
Keep abreast of changes in customs legislation and practices
What You'll Need:
Minimum 2 years' experience in customs documentation
Background in road imports
Hands-on experience with customs systems (e.g., Sequoia, CDS, Destin8)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong knowledge of UK import/export regulations
Good team player with effective communication skills
