Job Description
Title: DAF Plant operator
Salary: £15.67
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Working Times: Monday – Friday 4pm - midnight
Main Duties:
Maintain, operate, and monitor the treatment facility
Complete daily site meter readings of water tanks.
Inspect and perform daily checks on plant performance to ensure effective operations and maintain records, including start-up, shut down and daily monitoring
Ensure chemicals are stored safely in line with environmental policy
Complete planned maintenance activities in the water plant during quieter periods
Liaise with site engineering as required during breakdowns and troubleshooting
Work in conformance to HSE regulations
Any other duties as required by management within the competency of the post holder
About You:
Experienced in the food manufacturing field
Quick learner with a sense of urgency
Capable of inputting data onto paperwork and a computer
Able to work independently and carry out all tasks
