Job Description
We are looking for 2 Days Based Engineers for our Telford site to complement our existing Engineering team.
You will play a vital part in supporting the business and engineering department in both facility works and maintenance activities.
The Engineer positions are a full-time role based in Telford, working 41.5 hours per week following a rotating days shift pattern.
About the RoleAs the Days Engineer your responsibilities include:
Support the department with maintenance activities – PPM & Corrective work
Support in machine issue rectification
Support in LOLER & PUWER compliance activities; including crane servicing and statutory inspections
General repairs to buildings including lighting, drains and toilets
Responsible for all Telford properties
Contractor management including Permit to Work
Provide solutions at best value for the business

Requirements
You will be a qualified craftsperson with certification (ONC/HNC/HND – Mech, Elec, multi-skilled), experience working in a maintenance environment and managing contractors.
CMMS experience – working to PPM cycles and maintaining schedule adherence.
Prior experience working in an FMCG environment.
Previous experience in equipment specification, diagnostics, systems integration and maintenance coordination.
Interpersonal skills to adapt to a diverse group of employees, customers and suppliers.
MEWP experience preferable.
