We are currently recruiting for a confident, friendly, and adaptable Dental Nurse to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established private practice offering a wide range of treatments, including general dentistry and Invisalign. The successful candidate will be a true all-rounder, capable of delivering exceptional patient care while supporting clinical excellence.
About the Role
This is a varied and fulfilling position that will see you involved in every aspect of clinical and patient support. You’ll be an integral part of the practice, assisting clinicians chairside, maintaining impeccable hygiene standards, and ensuring each patient receives a seamless, positive experience from the moment they walk through the door.
Working hours are designed with a balanced schedule in mind:
* Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (working split shifts – three 6-hour shifts and one full 12-hour day)
* Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* One Saturday per month
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £12–£14+, depending on your experience and skill set.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Providing chairside support during a range of dental procedures, including general treatments and Invisalign
* Maintaining cross-infection control and sterilisation protocols to a high standard
* Preparing treatment rooms in line with clinical requirements
* Supporting with patient record management using Dentally software
* Delivering excellent communication and reassurance to patients throughout their visit
* Assisting on the front desk as required, including greeting patients, managing bookings, and handling patient queries
* Contributing to the smooth running of the practice through teamwork and professionalism
What We’re Looking For: To be considered for this role, you must be:
* GDC registered
* Experienced – ideally 2+ years in a dental nursing role within a busy practice
* Confident using dental software – experience with Dentally is ideal; knowledge of SOE is a bonus
* Comfortable taking on reception duties when needed
* A clear communicator with excellent spoken and written English
* Personable, reliable, and passionate about providing high standards of patient care
