Depot Foreman – Generator Hire
📍 Location: Crawley, West Sussex
💰 Salary: Up to £45,000 basic + benefits

About the Role
As Depot Foreman, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our Crawley-based depot, specialising in generator hire and power solutions. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the depot, including:

Supervising and leading a team of engineers, fitters, and drivers
*
Managing the inspection, maintenance, and preparation of generators and associated equipment
*
Coordinating deliveries, collections, and logistics to meet customer deadlines
*
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
*
Maintaining stock control and ensuring equipment availability
*
Acting as the main point of contact for customers and ensuring high levels of service
Key Requirements
✅ Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within the generator hire, plant hire, or equipment hire industries
✅ Strong technical knowledge of diesel generators and power equipment
✅ Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
✅ A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and guide your team
✅ Full UK driving licence
