Job Title: Depot Manager
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: Up to £55k per year
Contract: Permanent – Monday – Friday
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Depot Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their Depot!
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily depot operations, including fleet scheduling, vehicle dispatch, and maintenance coordination
Manage and lead a team of drivers, technicians, and administrative staff
Ensure compliance with all relevant transport legislation and company policies
Monitor and report on KPIS including delivery performance, fuel usage, maintenance schedules, and customer satisfaction
Control depot budget, ensuring cost -effective operations
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Managing workshop staff timesheets
Workshop health and safety
Processing workshop staff timesheets
Analyse the weekly purchase order report, to cost save and highlight over spending
