Design and Technology Teacher Needed We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher on supply basis. As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, fostering creativity, and equipping students with the skills to succeed in both practical and theoretical aspects of design and technology. Key Responsibilities for a Design and Technology Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in design and technology, focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills Teach a range of topics, including product design, engineering, CAD, electronics, materials science, and manufacturing techniques Ensure students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in design Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity and independent thought Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their development Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive learning space Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technological advancementsRequirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification Strong knowledge and passion for design and technology, with the ability to teach both practical and theoretical content Experience teaching Design and Technology at Key Stage 3 & 4 (KS3 & KS4), with the ability to adapt to different learning needs Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to engage students and foster a love for design and innovation A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive classroom environment Experience with CAD, engineering, and using technology in teaching is highly desirableWhy Join Us?
