Design Technology Teacher – Kingston Secondary School
An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to join their Design and Technology department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5).
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and practical Design Technology lessons.
* Cover a range of specialisms within Design Technology (e.g., Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, Textiles - specify if a particular specialism is preferred).
* Create a safe and supportive workshop environment.
* Assess student progress and provide effective feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the Design Technology curriculum.

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A degree in Design Technology or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary level.
* Strong practical skills and knowledge across a range of DT specialisms.
* Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
