DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY TEACHER – CRAFT THE FUTURE WITH PK EDUCATION!
£160 – £220 per day | Full-Time & Part-Time Roles | Secondary Schools Across South Yorkshire
Where Creativity Meets the Classroom!
Are you a master of materials? A wizard with woodwork? A CAD connoisseur? If you can take students from "huh?" to "heck yes!" with a glue gun in one hand and a laser cutter in the other, we want you!
PK Education is on the lookout for a passionate, hands-on Design & Technology Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of engineers, designers, problem-solvers and creative thinkers.
️ What Will You Be Doing?
As a DT Teacher, you'll be diving into one of the most practical and creative subjects on the timetable. Your role will include:
Teaching Design & Technology to KS3 and KS4 students (and KS5 if you're up for it!).
Planning and delivering engaging, inventive lessons across specialisms like product design, resistant materials, graphics, CAD/CAM, or textiles.
Encouraging students to think critically, solve real-world problems, and take pride in what they create.
Managing practical lessons safely and effectively (yes, we know you can juggle hacksaws and health & safety like a pro).
Supporting students in coursework and project-based learning.
No two lessons will ever be the same – and that's exactly how we like it.
What’s in It for You?
£160 – £220 per day, depending on experience and responsibilities.
Opportunities for long-term, short-term, or flexible day-to-day work – your schedule, your choice!
The chance to work in a variety of welcoming and well-equipped secondary schools across [Insert Region].
Dedicated support from your very own PK consultant (think of us as your behind-the-scenes support crew).
Access to free CPD and training sessions to keep your skills sharp.
A real opportunity to make a difference in a creative and rewarding subject.
