Design Estimating Engineer
Location - Covering South Central Region - Could either be based in Swadlincote or Trowbridge offices
Salary - Completely Open & Negotiable DOE
Hours - 41.5hr Week, Monday - Friday
We have a new opportunity for an Design Estimating Engineer. Our client is a leading specialist in piling and ground engineering. As a Design Estimating Engineer you will play a key technical role supporting the development and delivery of piling, foundations, and ground improvement solutions across a variety of projects. This role suits a Design Estimating Engineer who is looking for a long-term role as our client prides themselves on progression and career development.

Design Estimating Engineer Role -
As a Design Estimating Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing a wide range of piling solutions (including CFA, CHD, Tubular Steel, and Precast Driven piles), preparing tenders, supporting site teams, and liaising with clients. You’ll play a crucial part in winning work by creating technically sound and commercially competitive solutions.
Design Estimating Engineer Requirements -
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, or a related field (MSc preferred).
- Experience designing bearing piles, tension piles, retaining walls, etc.
- Proficient in interpreting technical documents including PIDs and geotechnical reports.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and construction techniques.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
