Do you have experiences as a Design Manager working in the building services industry? If the answer is yes, then this job is for you! I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Cardiff-based client who are looking to expand their design team. This exciting business manufacture a niche product and play a vital role in the building services industry. As a Design Manager, you will manage a team of CAD Engineers and oversee design processes from conception through to completion, liaising closely with Project Managers.
Role & Responsibilities:
Management of a team of 4 CAD Engineers.
Overseeing design projects from conception to completion, working on multiple projects simultaneously in accordance with communication from Project Managers.
Review technical documents to ensure design proposals and schematics are aligned with client requirements.
Maintain a keen eye for detail in compliance with legislation changes to ensure design projects meet industry standards.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Experience working in a design position within a building services setting.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Design Manager position and will have experience with people management.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on multiple projects simultaneously, and should be able to balance their workload accordingly.
