Design technician
Full time
£22,900-£24,500
A secondary school in Northampton are looking to appoint a design technician to start as soon as possible. You will be working 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. Tasks will involve;
Support of teaching and learning throughout Design Faculty.
General Faculty administration tasks
Monitoring stock levels of materials, tools and equipment, and re-ordering as necessary ensuring that ‘best value for money’ is obtained.
Checking and maintenance of hand tools and machinery for safe use.
Monitoring of Health and Safety including conducting checks and external servicing
Attend/update data courses as required for safe use and maintenance of machinery
We are looking for someone who:
· enjoys being part of a team
· highly organised
· able to work under pressure at busy times such as exam periods and exhibitions
· can be flexible
· Experience would be advantageous but full training will be provided.
