We are currently seeking a qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our client’s team on a temporary contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced main dealership, handling a variety of technical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform a range of technical tasks, from routine servicing and repairs to more complex diagnostic work and major repairs.
* Diagnose vehicle issues accurately using the latest diagnostic equipment and techniques.
* Complete repairs to high standards, ensuring attention to detail and precision.
* Adapt to a wide variety of jobs, demonstrating flexibility and expertise in your role.
* Work efficiently in a busy dealership environment, meeting the high standards expected in a main dealership.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential).
* Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
* MOT Licence: Preferred but not essential.
* Proven experience in an automotive workshop, with a strong background in diagnostics and vehicle repair.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (minimum 8 hours per day).
* Potential for additional weekend work, paid at a weekend rate.
