Generator Service Engineers
WB Power Services is looking for Generator Service Engineers to join our team during an exciting period of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled and motivated engineers to be part of a leading business in the power generation industry.

The Role
Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on a variety of diesel generator sets.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
Troubleshoot control panel issues, including replacing components when necessary.
Conduct Load Banking and mains failure testing in line with customer needs.
Source and order parts required for maintenance and repairs.
Stay up to date with training and industry developments to enhance technical skills.
Complete and submit detailed service reports promptly.
Schedule and coordinate repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
Work closely with the internal service team to maintain effective communication and teamwork.The Person
Time-served generator engineer or qualified to NVQ Level 3.
Generator experience is advantageous but not essential.
Strong understanding of electronics and mechanical components, including engines and alternators.
Willing to work overtime, including mid-week, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.
Able to participate in an on-call rota when required.
Capable of completing and understanding risk assessments.
Experience in a mobile engineering role is beneficial.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
Comfortable dealing with a wide range of customers across different industries.What We Offer

On-call standby pay of £200 per week
